The reagent for ABO blood type is prepared from growing immune globulins in vitro – cell lines secreted from mice. This reactant is diluted with phosphate buffers containing NaCl, Edta and Bovine albumin (bovine albumin) making the reactant suitable for use in vitro, slide, microplate.
Antibody A is stained light green. B antibodies are stained yellow (tartrazine). AB antibodies are not stained. The testing process is based on the agglutination rule, when antigens are present, and antibodies will produce a agglutination reaction for a positive result. The test will be negative when no agglutination occurs.
